1) Do you believe in any religion ? If not, why not?

A: 没有。I don’t believe in any religion because I have no time to devote herself to practice religion since I am a college student.

2) You are currently living in Korea. How would you compare the Confucianism in Korea and Confucianism in China?

A: 韩国好像更注重孔子学说。It is very similar that Confucianism is an important factor in both Korea and China. For example, both societies respect the elders. I’ve seen Koreans give up their seats for elders in the subway; same kind of respect can be seen in China.

A: 相信。Even though I am not a Christian, I still believe in heaven and hell. It is too depressing to believe that everything ends when I die. Therefore, I want to believe that there is an afterlife.

5) Do you believe in the existence of god ?

A: 不相信。I don’t believe in the existence of god. I believe that people create their own fate, not god.

6) Confucianism is obviously a big part of Chinese society. How did Confucianism impact your life ?

A: 佛教庙宇大多是早时留下的。现在有越来越多的小教堂。Most of the Buddhist temples are from the ancient periods. Recently, the number of churches are increasing. This is a recent phenomena in China.

11) Which is more important to you: strict laws or relationships?
